Leadership
Global Leadership Team
Ed O’Mara, SGC Area Leader - Europe
From 2013 until 2022 Ed was the Lead Pastor of CrossPointe Church in Arnold, MD, USA. For many years Ed has been burdened for the spiritual state of Europe and his desire is to serve, strengthen, and help plant churches in Europe that preach the good news of salvation through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. For this reason, Ed and his wife, Robin, and their three children transferred to Italy in July 2022 to church plant in Turin.
The Leadership Team is a small group of men, all of whom are members of Sovereign Grace churches. These men do not occupy a special church office but are recognized as having broad leadership gifting in particular areas. They serve a critical role in ensuring that we are led effectively in our shared mission. They are appointed by the Executive Director and our Executive Committee.
